Reflections on 2014 | It has been an incredible year here at the Kelly Brush Foundation: new collaborations and partnerships, a record grant cycle, new events, new friends, new experiences and the continued success of our Century Ride.

New collaborations | We partnered with Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital of Boston and their Spaulding Adaptive Sports Centers on a pilot program to facilitate active lifestyles for people with spinal cord injuries.

Record grant cycle | We made nearly 60 grants to individuals and clubs in 26 states around the country, growing our grant program 15% over last year.

New events | We kicked off our Inspire! series of events in Boston and Vermont, met new friends, had some fun, and showcased our mission in new ways.

Vision for 2015 | We’re doubling down on our commitment to growth as the demand for our programs increases. Grant applications increased by more than $235,000 in 2014 from 2013. We want to keep pace.

Renewed vision | We are committed to being the leader in enabling active lifestyles for people with spinal cord injuries, not only by growing our existing grant program, but by partnering with other leaders of the adaptive sports community to blaze new paths. We are also committed to continuing as the leader in ski racing safety, finding innovative ways to promote safety and keep kids safe.

New leadership | This vision requires organizational commitment. With Zeke’s hiring to run the KBF full-time, we plan to embark on this ambitious growth phase. New partnerships, new initiatives, new events, new content and greater visibility.

Will you help? | We hope to engage with you in many ways next year.

Give | We simply cannot create the many “KBF gave me freedom!” testimonials without your support. We are about $11,000 away from raising $500,000 in 2014! In these last few days, please consider making a donation (we can accept appreciated securities, too). What an incredible milestone that would be!
