Community Spotlight: Lenworth

Meet Lenworth Harrison from Brooklyn, New York. A few years ago, Lenworth received an Active Fund grant for a TopEnd Force RX road handcycle. From the moment it arrived, it became more than a piece of equipment. It became fuel.
In Lenworth’s words, the impact of his grant has been “nothing short of EXPLOSIVE.” He shared that from the day he unboxed his TopEnd Force RX, it gave him “limitless power and a burning zeal.” That energy shows in what he has taken on since then.
With his handcycle, Lenworth has completed two TCS New York City Marathons, including his most recent one last month. He has completed every New York City Half Marathon, and he is already confirmed to race the United Airlines Half Marathon in March, 2026. Lenworth says that his “medal count has absolutely soared,” and that he is incredibly proud of every victory.
The changes reach beyond race days. “Even my medical doctors and family see the big changes in my life and are so proud of all my accomplishments on that bike.” He describes this opportunity as priceless and says it has made his life intensely positive.
Looking ahead, Lenworth is setting his sights on competing in more states and internationally in 2026. He also shared his commitment to supporting the KBF community in every way he can so that others have the chance to experience the same spark.
We are proud to cheer him on and grateful to have him in the KBF community! Go Lenworth!
