Documentary film Best Day Ever follows KBF’s Chief Program Ambassador Greg Durso and community member Allie Bianchi as they tackle the daily challenges of disability and find joy, connections, and belonging in Vermont’s mountain biking community. The film won the Audience Choice Award for Overall Documentary at its October premiere at the Heartland International Film Festival in Indianapolis.

Since that initial screening, the film has dazzled festival audiences in Banff (Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival’s Best Film in the Mountain Sports category, and Audience Choice Award); Krakow Poland; Laguna Beach California (Coast Film & Music Festival Audience Choice Award); Santiago Chile (Santiago Mountain Films Festival Best Film); Kendal UK (Kendal Mountain Festival Community & Culture Award); Bilbao Spain (Mendi Film Festival Jury Award); Madurai, India; and beyond, and will continue to be presented at film festivals around the world throughout 2026.
