The most recent edition of the quarterly Middlebury Magazine sought to feature the “definitive profile” of Kelly to mark the 10-year anniversary of Kelly’s injury (coming up this month) while a sophomore at Middlebury College. It chronicles her injury, what she’s accomplished since, but most of all what being Kelly is like now. The answer: not too different!

And that’s how it is being around Kelly Brush, who, 10 years after catching an edge while skiing the GS at the Williams Carnival, has become the literal poster child for ski-racing safety. But really this celebrity is just like us.”
