The Kelly Brush Foundation is excited to help support 4 individuals on their adaptive skiing journey in Colorado taking place December 4th – 10, 2022. This opportunity will engage and bring together the SCI community to build camaraderie and gain further independence in adaptive sports. The Hartford Ski Spectacular is one of the nation’s largest winter sports festivals for people with disabilities, with more than 800 registered participants annually. This experience will focus on creating an opportunity for those who are looking to start adaptive skiing and beginners looking to level up their skills and get to know their own equipment.
Eligibility: Individuals with paralysis caused by spinal cord injury who reside in the United States. Other conditions are not eligible for this program, including (but not limited to) spina bifida, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, post-polio, Guillain-Barre Strohl Syndrome, ALS, all other neuropathies, and all other conditions causing disability.

What and where: Join the KBF In Breckenridge Colorado at the Beaver Run Resort for the Hartford Ski Spectacular hosted by Move United. The event features 4 full days of Ski Lessons from top instructors from all different adaptive programs across the country.
What’s included: 5 night stay at Beaver Run Resort, all registration fees, lessons, lift tickets and round trip shuttle from Denver Airport will also be included. We will also include a travel voucher up to $750. Lunches are included, as well as two dinner banquets. Attendees will be responsible for breakfasts and other dinners.
